My Studio
In 1991 I bought the old Ward Tenement in Moretown Village, circa 1830(?). It had a vacant 3rd-floor attic and 3 apartments on the main floors. This arrangement provided me with a full-time attic studio space that did not necessarily have to justify itself financially, a situation which I find to be conducive to creative play. For the last few years I have also taken over one of the apartments on the ground floor as a showroom. I participate in the Vermont Crafts Council Open Studio Weekends, and the Valley Festival of the Arts, and I am also happy to open up by appointment. I love sharing my work and my space, as I find many people respond with considerable surprise and excitement. Please see my events listings for open studio dates and times.
Location
Located at 1104 Route 100B in Moretown Village, next door to the Moretown General Store and across the street from the Post Office. My showroom is in Unit One, the left-hand door off the front porch. My studio is accessed via an enclosed detached stairwell at the back of the building. During Open Studio times, the building and entrances are well-marked.
